Product description

Your Soul’s Plan (which was originally published under the title Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?) explores the provocative premise that we are all eternal souls who plan our lives, including our greatest challenges, before we are born for the purpose of spiritual growth. Through compelling profiles of people who knowingly planned experiences such as AIDS and cancer, parenting handicapped children, deafness, blindness, drug addiction, alcoholism, losing a loved one, and severe accidents, this book shows that suffering is not purposeless, but imbued with deep meaning. Working with four of the country’s most gifted mediums, author Robert Schwartz reveals the significance of each individual’s soul plan and allows us a fascinating look into the “other side.”

Each personal story focuses on a specific life challenge, organized by type for easy reference. Accessible both to those familiar with the metaphysical aspects of spirituality and to the general reader, the moving narratives that comprise Your Soul’s Plan help readers awaken to the reality that they are transcendent, eternal souls. With this stirring book as a guide, feelings of anger, resentment, guilt, and victimization are healed and replaced by acceptance, forgiveness, peace, and gratitude.

    « Life Changing Enlightenment »
Robert's collection of insightful stories has incredible value to every living soul on this planet. It's overcoming our limited perception of life itself that stands between accepting this knowledge as true and not accepting it at all.

This book has awakened not only a knowing in me, but was the catalyst for my own breakthrough in the experience of Direct Knowing. This has led to the discovery of my life's purpose--a search long in the making.

A highly recommended read for all soul's to ponder and embrace. Who knows what insights lie ahead for you.

    « What I needed »
While this book did not introduce me to any new concepts, I found that I couldn't read it without a highlighter nearby. I knew the importance of living without judgment of the things that happen around us, but this book really helped me by way of example to really see how to do it.

    « Great Book »
One of the best books I have ever read and it explains so much about why our lives go the way they do. It has helped me with coming to grips with relationships I have had, the death of my oldest son at such an early age and so much more. I highly recommend it to anyone.

« Confirmation on a very Deep Level »
I have been on a long journey for what I thought was spiritual truth. What I have learned while reading this book was that my journey was to begin to love myself for what & who I have become. These words helped me to let go my anger and many resentments that I still was hanging on too (even though I thought I shed them years ago). This book has helped me to evolve my thinking and belief systems which were not on the same level of understanding. My soul was saying one thing but my conforming self struggled against change until I reached my understanding of who I really am. If this was meant to help you it will, if you are ready to change and grow inwardly. Otherwise, it will be meaningless until you personally are ready on many levels for truth and self empowerment.

    « The Soul's Central Issue »
Robert Schwartz has rightly targeted an aspect of the central purpose that we, as souls, all have in our incarnation on planet Earth. This is to fulfil the tasks we have pre-chosen to do in fulfilment of the divine purpose, which is our purpose. This is to explore the nature of all that is not unconditional love so that we may understand the magnificence of love, which is the reality of Source.
The author could have chosen from a variety of life lessons. He wisely chose dramatic ones, such as addiction. The reader needs to remember, however, that much less dramatic issues, such as a mole of the face or a speaking difficulty, can be life lessons also. Robert somewhat over wrote his commentary, slowing the progress of the book, but his attention to detail is commendable. As a writer in the same field (e.g.,"Talking to Leaders of the Past") I know how how hard it is to be perfect. The author has spent his time wisely in writing a book that I will highly commend to my friends. Peter Watson Jenkins
